Everything you need, in one beautiful place
Location & setting
104 Beacon Road, Tamborine Mountain QLD 4272, in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Estate is set across five acres of gardens and rainforest, approximately 55 minutes from Brisbane and 40 minutes from the Gold Coast.
Mountain climate
Tamborine Mountain is typically a few degrees cooler in summer than Brisbane or the Gold Coast below—a welcome advantage for outdoor celebrations and wedding parties wearing formal suits, layered gowns or full wedding-day makeup.
Ceremony & reception spaces
Choose from four ceremony locations and two reception spaces: the Galaxy Ballroom and Waterfall Pavilion.
Guest numbers
Weddings can accommodate up to 150 guests.
Wet-weather alternatives
We plan an indoor ceremony alternative with you before your wedding, based on your chosen setting, guest numbers and package. Our coordinators monitor the forecast and manage changes to timing and movement between spaces. Read our wet-weather planning FAQ.
On-site accommodation
Four private cottages are located on the Estate, with spa baths, wood fireplaces and balconies.
Inclusive wedding experiences
Our inclusive wedding packages bring together the venue, ceremony and reception arrangements, food, beverages and experienced coordination, with inclusions varying by package.
Private use of the Estate
Your ceremony, photographs and reception unfold privately across the gardens and wedding spaces, without another wedding taking place around you. Access times and included spaces depend on your package. Cottage inclusions, extra nights and guest stays are confirmed separately with our team, subject to availability. Read about exclusive use and accommodation.
Ceremony-only & micro-weddings
Ceremony-only celebrations start from $3,200 for up to 60 guests, including a bar tab. Micro-weddings start from $5,500 for up to 10 guests, including food platters, drinks and one night’s accommodation. 2026 pricing; availability and conditions apply.
Estate weddings
Estate Weddings start from $14,700 for 30 guests, including the ceremony, pre-reception gathering, reception, catering and beverages. 2026 pricing; selected dates and conditions apply.
Wedding timing
Your celebration’s start time will depend on your chosen package, with all weddings drawing to a close by 10 pm.
Private tours
A private tour is the best way to explore the Estate, meet our team and imagine how your own wedding could unfold at Shambala.
